In the United State, however, the Russian language and culture remain a major barrier to full integration.

The Russian language has been used as a second language in public schools, and many Americans are hesitant to speak Russian to each other.

Georgia and Russia have fought three major wars in the Caucasus region, and there are more than 40,000 Russian soldiers in Georgia and more than 5,000 in Russia, according to the Defense Ministry.

The Black Sea is the world, and some experts believe the region could become a major military threat in the future.

Russia, which has been involved in conflicts in Georgia for decades, has also used its military to support separatist groups in neighboring Ukraine.
