The Entergy operator announced Monday it has experienced “several outages” at its Northern California distribution center in North Carolina, but did not provide any further details about what caused the outages.
The outage at the plant, located in Wilmington, North Carolina is affecting a variety of services including electricity, gas and water.
Entergy says it has not received any reports of any damage.
The company said in a statement that the company is “working to resolve the issues with the distribution system as quickly as possible.”
The outage is expected to last until Wednesday.
The Entergy statement says the company has also suffered outages at its Southern California distribution centers.
Entergys spokesperson Jennifer DeGraw said the company was working with regulators to ensure customers’ ability to use their electricity.
